The cards are printed in Australia on high quality white 100% recycled 350gsm card. They are 126mm x126mm. The back of the card includes the following information;
Student’s name
School year
School name
As the cards are printed blank on the inside students can design birthday cards, Christmas cards or any other greeting card they choose.
Students create their greeting card design on a paper template which we supply to the school. When the artworks are completed and returned to us, we process them and upload the card designs to our secure online site. Parents can view their child’s artwork via a unique code and order online. Cards are then delivered to the school for distribution and funds are transferred to the school via EFT.
There are no upfront costs and there is no obligation for parents to make a purchase.
Each student’s artwork is turned into a pack of 8 greeting cards. These packs of cards will be available online to purchase for $18.50. This cost covers the cost of card packs, all shipping costs, GST and includes a $5 donation to the participating school, nominated charity or organisation.
For every pack of cards purchased, participating schools, organisations or nominated charities will receive $5.
For example:
200 packs of cards purchased = $1,000 raised
This money will be transferred to the school at the completion of the project
This program has been designed to be as hassle free as possible.
The following input is required by organisers:
– Registering for program
– Collecting and posting the artwork templates to Cards that Count.
– Communicating key program dates to families
– Distributing the purchased card packs when they arrive at school.
Unlike many other fundraising initiatives, Cards that Count does NOT require organisers to collect money or spend hours of their time sorting out orders.
Very little – we understand that teachers are very busy teaching therefore all class teachers need to do is distribute and set aside completed templates for collection by parent coordinator.
